Growing up in Edmonton, Dr. Viviane Nguyen began her studies at the University of Alberta before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia. She is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care and strives to create a comfortable environment for all. Dr. Nguyen believes in helping patients understand their oral health and providing them with the information to make informed treatment choices. Dr. Nguyen enjoys learning about the latest advances to further her knowledge and clinical skills. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, catching up on TV shows and trying out new recipes.

Dr. Mo Omar is an across-world traveler, as he had to travel for 10,111 km from Cairo to Edmonton, where he specialized in the art of maintaining teeth and preserving gum health and aesthetics, AKA Periodontics. In addition to the three years of clinical training, he invested three more years investigating the potential role of genetics in the association between gum disease and heart disease, a project that made him the first PhD in Periodontology at the University of Alberta.

On his way from Cairo, Dr. Omar made a brief stop in Scotland, where in addition to experiencing the bagpipes and kilts, he attended a post-graduate program in Oral cancer at the University of Dundee.

In the dental chair, utilizing his surgical and non-surgical skills, Dr. Omar strives to maintain his patients’ teeth for as long as possible, and if need be, replace them with implants. He as well would help his patients achieve healthy and aesthetic gums through soft tissue grafts. Dr. Omar has a passion in teaching, so as his patient you can always expect a little bit of education.

Outside of the office, Dr. Omar can be found working out in the gym or meditating in a yoga studio, or possibly in the dog park, but most likely, along with his wife, Sara, they will be cheering on their little gymnast, Laila, at one of her competitions.

Dr. Neda A. Zadeh is a dedicated and innovative dental professional with a comprehensive background in both engineering and dentistry. She received her Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Chemical & Biological Engineering from the University of British Columbia. Pursuing her passion for dentistry, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney in Australia.

Dr. Neda is committed to implementing the latest technologies to ensure the highest quality of oral care for her patients. She emphasizes patient education, believing that informed patients can make better decisions about their oral health. Dr. Neda is dedicated to providing conservative and preventive dental care, recognizing that each patient’s oral health is unique and integral to their overall well-being. She firmly believes that the health of the mouth is intrinsically linked to the health of the body. Passionate about all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Neda continually updates her dental knowledge and skills through ongoing education courses. She enjoys treating children and teaching them about their oral health, fostering long-term relationships with all her patients. Dr. Neda offers sedation dentistry to help anxious patients feel more comfortable during treatments and is killed in all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, Botox and Invisalign. Outside of her professional practice, Dr. Neda enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new trails and parks with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Brian Fedoretz has experience in different areas of general dentistry, and is able to provide Invisalign® clear braces treatment. He is passionate about dentistry and gives detailed explanations for treatment options to all of his patients. He can be described as friendly and funny, and his patients gravitate towards his positive energy!

Dr. Fedoretz was also voted the Best Dentist in Edmonton by bestinedmonton.com, due to his extensive experience, proven track record and easygoing attitude and patience with his patients.

Dr. Kristen Kezar was born and raised in Saskatchewan. She followed her interests in biomedical sciences and completed a four year degree in Physiology and Pharmacology before going on to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the U of S. She moved to Edmonton in January with her fiancé Michael who is also a dentist, specializing in orthodontics, at the U of A.

Dr. Kezar believes in dental care being an inclusive and welcoming experience—because everyone deserves to have a smile they love! She takes a personalized approach to treating patients and enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry.

In her spare time, Kristen uses every free moment to visit, laugh and spend time with friends and family. She loves animals, especially her pup, Sherpa, as well as spending time outside, whether that’s hiking, fishing, or a cool drink on a patio!

Dr. Zenith brings practical experience and personal attention to each one of his patients. Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Zenith graduated from the University of Alberta in 1981. That same year he started ZenithDental in the very same location it is today. Since then, Dr. Zenith has proudly served the needs of Edmonton’s growing community. Dr. Zenith is happily married with four beautiful children and three wonderful grandchildren. In addition to
dentistry and spending time with his beloved family, Dr. Zenith is an avid photographer, supporter of the performing arts and Oilers fan.

Dr. Luis Valencia is a dedicated dentist who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto. With a passion for serving communities, he began his career in a rural setting before relocating to Edmonton. Dr. Valencia is committed to delivering comprehensive dental care to his patients and enjoys crown and bridge work, root canal treatment, extractions and providing sedation options. Beyond the office, Dr. Valencia enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, as well as indulging in a round of golf. Fluent in Spanish, he values connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds and ensuring they feel comfortable and understood during their dental visit.

Dr. Jerry Zheng is a skilled and compassionate dentist who earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Saskatchewan. After gaining valuable experience working in Winnipeg, Dr. Zheng returned to his hometown of Edmonton, where he is now dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to his community.

With a passion for surgical procedures, crown and bridge work, and a wide range of general dentistry services, Dr. Zheng is committed to helping his patients achieve optimal oral health. His approach is patient-centered, ensuring that each individual feels heard and understood. Known for his excellent communication skills and attentive listening, Dr. Zheng builds strong relationships with his patients, making them feel comfortable and confident in the care they receive.

When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Zheng enjoys staying updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, ensuring that his patients benefit from the most current and effective treatments.

Dr. Emily Ervin – A University of Alberta graduate, Dr. Ervin has known she wanted to be a dentist since she was three years old. She understands that going to the dentist can often be challenging, and is committed to making the experience a positive one for all of her patients. She is friendly and compassionate, and takes the time to go through all treatment options, answer questions and develop custom treatment plans that fit each patient’s unique needs.

Dr. Ervin is comfortable working with patients with complex medical needs. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including functional and esthetic restorative, endodontics, Invisalign, and surgical extractions including wisdom teeth. In her free time, Dr. Ervin is an avid reader, and loves to spend time outdoors and practice her nature photography.

Dr. Frank Szojka has been practicing dentistry since 1988, he is an alumni of the University of Alberta. Dr. Frank enjoys all areas of general dentistry and is known for creating long lasting relationships with his patients. He prides himself on investing time with patients to ensure each one of them is educated and provided with the best care possible. When not practicing dentistry you can find Dr. Frank relaxing with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors.
