Dr. Daniel Bargrizan graduated from Griffith University in Australia after completing his Bachelor of Science degree at Dalhousie University. Dr. Bargrizan has quickly become a patient favorite since joining us in May 2019, with his passion for dentistry combined with outstanding chair side manner. He is also fluent in Persian. Dr. Bargrizan proudly offers all general dentistry services as well as implants and Invisalign. He also offers sedation options including oral and nitrous sedation to make make dental visits more comfortable.

When not in the office, Dr Bargrizan loves keeping busy with outdoor activities like skiing, tennis, golf and kayaking. He also loves traveling, and that is how he picked up scuba diving and has since become a PADI divemaster.

Dr. Mo Omar is an across-world traveler, as he had to travel for 10,111 km from Cairo to Edmonton, where he specialized in the art of maintaining teeth and preserving gum health and aesthetics, AKA Periodontics. In addition to the three years of clinical training, he invested three more years investigating the potential role of genetics in the association between gum disease and heart disease, a project that made him the first PhD in Periodontology at the University of Alberta.

On his way from Cairo, Dr. Omar made a brief stop in Scotland, where in addition to experiencing the bagpipes and kilts, he attended a post-graduate program in Oral cancer at the University of Dundee.

In the dental chair, utilizing his surgical and non-surgical skills, Dr. Omar strives to maintain his patients’ teeth for as long as possible, and if need be, replace them with implants. He as well would help his patients achieve healthy and aesthetic gums through soft tissue grafts. Dr. Omar has a passion in teaching, so as his patient you can always expect a little bit of education.

Outside of the office, Dr. Omar can be found working out in the gym or meditating in a yoga studio, or possibly in the dog park, but most likely, along with his wife, Sara, they will be cheering on their little gymnast, Laila, at one of her competitions.

Dr. Wang believes in building robust relationships with his patients, carefully listening to their concerns, and thoroughly reviewing treatment options. Further, Dr. Wang is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements and regularly participates in continuing education programs and workshops to ensure that he can provide his patients with the most up-to-date and effective treatments available. In his spare time, Dr. Wang likes exploring new places and documenting his travels via photography.

Growing up in Edmonton, Dr. Viviane Nguyen began her studies at the University of Alberta before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia. She is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care and strives to create a comfortable environment for all. Dr. Nguyen believes in helping patients understand their oral health and providing them with the information to make informed treatment choices. Dr. Nguyen enjoys learning about the latest advances to further her knowledge and clinical skills. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, catching up on TV shows and trying out new recipes.

Dr. Sahba Kian brings over a decade of experience and a wealth of cultural and professional insight to our team. Since graduating from dental school in 2013, Dr. Kian has practiced dentistry in communities across Canada, from British Columbia to Quebec, gaining a deep appreciation for the unique needs of diverse patient populations.
 
Dr Kian served in the Canadian Armed Forces and speaks English, French, Spanish, and Farsi, allowing him to connect with patients from a variety of backgrounds. His philosophy, “to be the doctor I would want for myself,” is at the heart of his approach to dentistry. He lives this out by dedicating himself to delivering his very best work to every patient he has the honour of treating.
 
Outside the clinic, Dr. Kian has a passion for reggae music and enjoys staying active by playing a variety of sports. His enthusiasm for life and genuine care for others make him a trusted partner in helping patients achieve their healthiest, most confident smiles.

Dr. Brian Fedoretz has experience in different areas of general dentistry, and is able to provide Invisalign® clear braces treatment. He is passionate about dentistry and gives detailed explanations for treatment options to all of his patients. He can be described as friendly and funny, and his patients gravitate towards his positive energy!

Dr. Fedoretz was also voted the Best Dentist in Edmonton by bestinedmonton.com, due to his extensive experience, proven track record and easygoing attitude and patience with his patients.

Dr. Brookelyn Pettigrew is a general dentist committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto and went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University at Buffalo in New York. During her residency, she gained advanced training in comprehensive treatment planning, oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and the management of medically complex patients.

Dr. Pettigrew’s professional interests include oral surgery, crown and bridge, and orthodontics. She also provides dental sedation to support patients with high anxiety or complex treatment needs, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Pettigrew has completed a research paper on the dental management of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. She has also been actively involved in volunteer initiatives, including providing dental care to seniors in long-term care facilities, participating in pro bono clinics for underserved patients, and took part in a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic.

Outside of dentistry Dr. Pettigrew enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, cooking with her husband, and spending time with her two cats.
