Our Jasper Ave Dental Choice cares greatly about Oral Health and the team takes pride in educating our patients and our community. We visited Save On Foods on 109th Street and connected with residents in the community, we handed out goodie bags filled with information and products.

Over the past 40 years, Canadians have experienced a huge decrease in levels of dental decay. According to Health Canada’s Report on the Findings of the Oral Health Component of the Canadian Health Measures Survey on the population:

  • People who annually consult a dentist increased from 49.5% to 74.5%,
  • Children with at least one decayed tooth decreased from 74% to 23.6%,
  • Adolescents with at least one decayed tooth decreased from 96.6% to 58.8%,
  • Adults with no natural teeth decreased from 23.6% to 6.4%.
