Fill the Sleigh - Edmonton Fundraiser

University of Calgary Dino Cup Event

We want to start off by thanking those of you that came by to our promotional booth at the University of Calgary Dino Cup Volleyball Tournament. We had a lot of fun handing out Dental Choice lip balms and chatting with everyone that came by.
We had Andrea from our Varsity location, and Ashley from our Macleod location, at this event. They handed out almost 300 lip balms to the spectators of the event.

It was our pleasure to have Jason Roberts from EZ Rock 104.9 at our Kingsway Dental Choice office. He is a hockey player, and realizes the importance of wearing a well fitted and well made mouth guard (MG) to properly protect himself during his games.
In just two appointments, Jason is set for the hockey season! His first appointment was to come in and get his teeth impressions done. It took no longer than 10-15 minutes. Health Canada Recommends Mouth Guards

Health Canada recommends using an athletic mouth guard while engaging in sporting activities to minimize the risk of serious dental damage, that can be both painful and very costly to treat. Restoring chipped, broken, or missing teeth can cost anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars. In addition to the dental bill, treatment may take anywhere from a few months to even years. This could all be easily prevented by wearing an athletic mouth guard.
There are different types of mouth guards, with the main choice between store-bought or custom made mouth guards. Store bought mouth guards is the least expensive option, but it does not grip the teeth, which in turn provides less protection and is less comfortable to wear. It is also hard to keep the mouth guard in place, making it more difficult to wear. On the other hand, custom made mouth guards are more expensive, but provide better protection and comfort because the mouth guard is custom fit to your teeth.
