Dr. Carolyn Baergen - Millwoods Family Dentistry

Dr. Bob Christenson - Kingsway Dental Choice (office of Dr. Hans Herchen)

Since graduating from the University of Alberta in 1985, Dr. Bob Christenson has been providing exceptional dental care to patients. He is committed to staying current with the latest techniques and technology to help ensure that dental treatments are as safe, comfortable, and effective as possible. His post-graduate training in orthodontics, endodontics, and implant dentistry allows him to meet a wide array of dental needs.

Dr. Sandeep Dhaliwal - West Edmonton Dental Care

Dr. Sandeep Dhaliwal is a 2010  graduate from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine ( has his DMD). He is a 2004 graduate from JJS Dental College and Hospital in Mysore, India ( received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery), completed a 1 year rotary internship at the JSS Dental College and Hospital, also practiced a couple of years at the SBJRD Jain Charitable Hospital in Ludhiana, India. He also has his Invisalign certificate.

Dr. Brian Fedoretz - University Dental Care

Respected and admired by his patients and peers for his integrity and attention to detail, Dr. Brian Fedoretz has been caring for patients with his calm, gentle nature for over 20 years. He is experienced in many different areas of general and children's dentistry and has recently added Invisalign® invisible braces to his treatment options.

Dr. Drew Czernick - Whyte Avenue Dental Care

Dr. Drew Czernick earned his Bachelor's of Medical Science and DDS at the University of Alberta. During his studies, he has received numerous scholarships and awards, notably the Recipient of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for Implant Dentistry, and Science Student of the Year Award. Aside from his academic achievements, Dr. Drew Czernick is known for his compassion and care, dedicating his spare time to volunteer helping children at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and Abbotsford Elementary School.

Dr. Drew Czernick's practice at Whyte Avenue Dental Care has quickly grown, and that is the biggest compliment we can get.

 

Dr. Hans Herchen - Kingsway Dental Choice

Dr. Hans Herchen, the founder of Dental Choice Canada, has been providing outstanding dental care to patients for over twenty years. After graduating from the University of Alberta Faculty of Dentistry in 1989, Dr. Herchen opened his dental practice in Kingsway Garden Mall. His formula of providing effective dental treatments with a gentle, friendly touch helped his practice grow quickly, and over the years Dr. Herchen has helped thousands of patients enjoy beautiful, healthy smiles.

Dr. Herchen has selected the finest cosmetic and restorative dentists to become affiliates with Dental Choice and to carry on his mission of providing honest, compassionate dental care.

Dr. Claudia Martin - Millwoods Family Dentistry

After graduating from the University of Bogotá Colombia in 1991, Dr. Claudia Martin moved to Canada where she completed a residency at the University of Alberta Hospital Dental Clinic. She has served as a teaching faculty member at the University for a number of years. 

Dr. Martin excels at listening to her patients and she has a particular interest in "sleep" or sedation dentistry. She performs IV sedation for patients at the University of Alberta Hospital. Her gentle demeanor, extensive training, and prodigious technical skills enable her to provide compassionate and effective treatment.


Dr. Tanya Mundt - Kingsway Dental Choice (office of Dr. Hans Herchen)

Dr. Tanya Mundt has practiced general and family dentistry in Edmonton since earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005. She is a very gentle dentist who loves to work with children and all aspects of family dentistry. She is adept at listening to patients and addressing their concerns whether they are big or small. Dr. Mundt puts patient comfort first.

Dr. Walter Stankiewicz - University Dental

One of the most experienced and knowledgeable cosmetic and restorative dentists in the region, Dr. Walter Stankiewicz has been providing exceptional dental care since his 1978 graduation from the University of Alberta. He is able to diagnose and treat virtually all dental issues, including TMJ disorders and gum disease. His calm and easy-going demeanor also help anxious patients to relax and feel at ease.

Dr. Laura Tai - Kingsway Dental Choice (office of Dr. Hans Herchen)

Dr. Laura Tai has 15 years of experience as a general dentist. She has excellent clinical skills in a broad range of dentistry. She listens carefully to her patients and creates a treatment plan that is truly in that patient’s best interest. Dr. Tai is dental graduate of the University of Alberta and a Science graduate from the University of Calgary. She is dedicated to compassionate, team oriented dentistry in an environment of quality care, fine service and advanced learning. Her practice in Edmonton has grown quickly and she looks forward to helping you with your dental needs.

Dr. Sapna Thomas - West Edmonton Dental Care

Dr. Sapna Thomas has clearly demonstrated academic and professional excellence from an early age. She graduated at the top of her class from Queen Elizabeth High School, earning the Governor General's award for the highest average in Grade 12. She received an entrance scholarship to the University of Alberta; while working on her B.Sc. degree, she was placed on the Dean's List for four years and recognized with the Leadership Scholarship. Dr. Thomas earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Manitoba in 2004 and was the recipient of the Dr. Isadore Wolch Prize in Endodontics. She's certified in advanced cardiac life support, nitrous and oral sedation, and IV benzodiazepine sedation from the U of A.

When Dr. Thomas is not working with patients at West Edmonton Dental Care, she is contributing her time and talents to a variety of charitable endeavors. She has traveled to Mexico, Nicaragua, and beyond to provide dental treatment to underprivileged communities, assisted with health care for seniors with dementia, and volunteered at women's shelters where her services are needed. Dr. Thomas is also a Youth Group leader and Sunday school music director at Bethel Gospel Church.

Dr. David Wolle - Whyte Avenue Dental Care

Dr. David Wolle graduated from the University of Toronto in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1996. Dr. Wolle then served in the Israel Defense Forces for three years. He was responsible for two separate army dental clinics and had more than 7 dentists and 4 staff members under his command at one time.

Dr. Wolle has completed many advanced training courses in fields such as restorative and implant dentistry. Since 2008, he has served in the Alberta Medical Examiner's Office as a Forensic Odontologist and as a Clinical Instructor in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. He has been on dental mission trips to Caracas and Israel to treat children and elderly patients.

Dr. Dwayne O. Olatonade - 17th Avenue Dental Care

Dr. Dwayne O. Olatonade received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta in 2007. He received two scholarship awards and has completed advanced training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute. Dr. Olatonade is highly proficient in a number of cosmetic and restorative treatments, including porcelain veneers and dental implant restoration. He enjoys communicating with patients and putting them at ease. In his free time Dr. Olatonade enjoys tennis, volleyball, and traveling.

Dr. Fauzia Sajjad - Macleod Family Dentistry

An exceptional general and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Fauzia Sajjad has trained all over the world, including at Germany's Dresden University and Pakistan's LUMHS University. Dr. Sajjad earned her degree from the University of Alberta, where she conducted research in pediatric dentistry. Though her preferred areas of practice are general surgery and cosmetic dentistry, she excels in all aspects of general dentistry and continually provides the best standard of care to her satisfied patients. Dr. Sajjad is married with an eight-month-old son.
