Smiles are an important part of everyday human interaction. If you are unhappy with the appearance of your smile and are embarrassed for others to see your teeth, the dentists at Dental Choice can help. Our General Dentists offer a variety of cosmetic dentistry procedures that can transform your smile and help you feel more confident in your overall appearance.
Treatments such as porcelain veneers, dental bonding, tooth-coloured fillings, and teeth whitening can be performed as part of a smile makeover. Treatment is tailored to each patient's individual needs. Some individuals may need only one procedure to make over their smiles, whereas other individuals may require a combination of treatments. Our goal is for each patient to have teeth that are as white, straight, and smooth as possible.
The field of cosmetic dentistry requires both technical skill and an artistic touch in order to create the most beautiful and natural-looking results. Our dentists have the experience, skill, and talent to achieve dramatic smile makeovers for our patients.
Dental bonding is a safe and painless cosmetic dentistry procedure that can improve the appearance of chipped, cracked, or discoloured teeth. Dental bonding can also be performed to eliminate gaps between teeth and to change the size or shape of teeth.
The procedure can usually be completed in less than one hour. After a tooth-coloured dental resin is chosen to match the patient's natural tooth color, the material is applied to the teeth and smoothed into the desired shape. An ultraviolet light is used to bond the material to the teeth. Once the resin is hardened, it is shaped some more and then polished to a beautiful sheen.
Dental bonding is often an excellent solution for treating front teeth that need slight cosmetic repairs. To learn more about this cosmetic dentistry procedure, please contact our practice today.
Zoom®! tooth whitening is a popular cosmetic dentistry treatment for patients who desire a beautiful bright smile with a very small investment of time. Patients can choose from in-office whitening or take-home trays. Both treatments are very popular and can provide dramatic results in a short period of time.
Porcelain veneers, also known as "instant orthodontics," can correct a number of cosmetic concerns all at once. They are placed over teeth to conceal imperfections including chips, crookedness, and discoloration. In just two office visits, porcelain veneers can give you a beautiful, dazzling new smile.
Tooth Coloured Fillings
Tooth-coloured fillings are more attractive and much safer than their traditional metal counterparts. We can replace old metal fillings with new white composite fillings to enhance the beauty of your smile .
Invisalign® Invisible Braces
Invisalign® invisible braces offer an easy, painless, and highly effective way for patients to straighten their teeth without other people noticing that they are undergoing treatment. Impressions are taken of the patient's bite and used along with Invisalign® 3-D computer imaging software to create a series of clear retainers. These retainers are worn in succession, each one for approximately seven to fourteen days, until teeth are fully aligned. Invisalign® trays are easily removable so that patients can eat, brush, and floss as they normally would.
We also offer traditional braces for patients who are interested in a more cost-effective orthodontic solution. Treatment with traditional braces can be completed in about two years, approximately the same amount of time as treatment with Invisalign® invisible braces. In addition, modern metal braces are made with more comfortable materials than they were in the past. Our orthodontists and staff are skilled at providing treatment that is as gentle as possible.
