Dr. Hans Herchen is the Owner and President of Dental Choice, which was established in 1997.

Dr. Herchen is a U of A Dentistry graduate of 1989 at age 23 and has spent the last 20 years providing dentistry to thousands of Albertans.  At the same time he has led the Dental Choice group to becoming the most frequently trusted dental provider in Alberta.  

Dr. Herchen recognized early on that patients need to find an office that they can trust. Every day he emphasizes that vision and that has allowed for our significant growth.  At the same time, dentists are delighted with an environment where they can focus on providing quality dentistry, without being burdened with the endless business details of running a small clinical setting.

Dr. Herchen has purposefully created a management structure that has led to well organized offices, a winning atmosphere, and modern care, all while removing the hassles of running the business from the dentist.  This means your dentist can be focused on you and your family.  Because Dr. Herchen has personally done tens of thousands of procedures he truly understands the needs of patients, dentists and staff.  By aligning these three groups effectively, the Dental Choice group is now providing their dental services to more and more Albertans every day.  Dr. Herchen has no formal business training but recognizes that successful businesses are built from happy patient (customers) and effective staff/dentists.  It is that focus that will allow Dental Choice to continue to provide caring dental services to Calgary, Edmonton and all Albertans.
